Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach

is a relatively small town with a permanent population of approximately 15,000. Airlie is one of Australia’s prime holiday & party towns, which still relishes its village atmosphere.

The town offers many day activities: rainforest trips, waterfalls & swimming holes, bush walking, skydiving, parasailing, horse riding, fishing, sea kayaking, weekly sailing club race events, tropical island visits.

In the mountain surrounding Airlie Beach, we have the Great Walk, a 36km Walking Track over the mountain range.  This walk offers magnificent views, beautiful Australian Sub-tropical Bushland and overnight Camp Facilities.  Walks range in length from 2 hours to 3 days.

A feature of Airlie Beach is the tropical lagoon, which provides a ‘blue lagoon’ type feature to Airlie Beach with year round swimming and space to chill out on the beach. Visitors can enjoy this lagoon for free 24 hours per day.

As soon as the sun sets this little town comes to life with numerous bars, cafes, restaurants & night clubs calling out to residents & visitors.  The Esplanade, reburbished in 2004, offers a outdoor dining strip with magnificent ocean views, cuisine includes Mexican, Seafood, Thai, Chinese, Pasta/Pizza and Steak.
