Note: Hervey Bay to Airlie Beach travel arrangements. It is possible to hire a car and do a one way hire. It will take 11 hours driving time, so we suggest an overnight stop at Rockhampton which is 500 kms south of Airlie Beach. This would extend the itinerary by a day. Another option from Hervey Bay, is to take the Sun Tours coach back to Brisbane Airport (4 hours) or Fly with Qantaslink to Brisbane Airport, then fly with Virgin Blue or Jetstar from Brisbane to Proserpine - Whitsunday Coast Airport. |
